[02] FITNESS: Yoga!


Hi guys!
Of course it's important to stay fit and healthy in winter and yoga is a great form of keeping yourself in shape and here are some of my favs:
  • Child's pose: Sit on your knees and sit back on your heels, lean forward (with your arms stretched) as much as you can
  • Rag doll: Stand with your feet a few cms apart and lean down to touch your toes. Grab opposite elbow.
  • Sit cross legged with your back straight and lean forward and lay your head down, just relax!
LUNGES are good for your inner thighs and your calves, also for your balance and stretch.
  • Lunge 1: make a big step forwards with your right foot  and lay your left knee on the ground. Lift your chest and put your hands on your right thigh.
  • Lunge 2: Bring your knee off the floor and stretch it. Lift your upper body with your hands on your right thigh.
  • Lunge 3: Bring your arms over your head slowly then form a kind of pistol-thingy with your hands and push yourself a bit up as if someone would pull any strings over your head. 
  • Lunge 4: put your flat hands on the ground and then stretch both of your legs.
  • Turn yourself to the left so that your feet are parallel, stretch a bit and then turn to the left again so that your left leg is in front of you. Repeat whole cycle.
